Please take a moment to review the Conference Schedule then review the Registration Instructions below to sign up. The Conference / Workshop Registration Form is available to submit online or print and return by mail.

The conference will be held at the Grand Summit Hotel so that will be the primary location. Room will also be available at the Jordan Grand Hotel for overflow and a shuttle service will be provided.

Please note that special conference room rates have been negotiated but are only available on a first come, first served basis until April 11th. Be sure to make your Room Reservations early!

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

For your convenience please refer to these instructions when completing the forms for the conference.  Since there are a total of 21 Agencies participating in the conference. Each agency has designated a contact person. Click to view the  list of contact people complete with email links for all and phone numbers for most.

Nancy Kilbride of Events Your Way will be the contact person for conference registration.  The contact information is on all pages and forms.  Forms can be faxed, mailed or completed on line.

  Conference Registration:
• Choice of attending all three days, any combination of two days or one day
• Deadline to register is March 26, 2010
• Registrations are non-refundable but are transferable
• Checks only. 
  Checks payable to: Northern NE Community Action Conference – NNECAC

  Workshop Registration:
• Workshop pre-registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.  Some of the workshops may book up due to space restrictions
• Workshop Pre-Registration Form should accompany conference registration

There are a variety of room types available at the Grand Summit Hotel and Jordan Grand Hotel. The Snow CAP Inn is available as well with standard rooms at an economical rate.

Individual Call-In: Individuals making a reservation should call 1-800-207-2365. Be sure to advise your attendees to refer to the Northern New England CAP Conference 2010 group and group number 84Q74B.

Individual Call-In deposit and cancellation policies:
Deposit: One nights lodging, if stay is only for one night, or if multiple nights ½ of the total reservation, is due within five (5) days of booking the reservation. Final payment is due two weeks prior to arrival and will be automatically charged.
Cancellation: Reservations cancelled between receipt of deposit and 15 days prior to arrival forfeit a $50.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival forfeit the entire deposit amount. No refund for late arrivals, early departures, no-shows, or downgrades.

Grand Summit Resort Hotel & Conference Center does not guarantee specific room type availability. Requests will be accommodated based on availability.

Hotel check-in time is after 4:30 PM on the day of arrival. Checkout time is before 10:30 AM on the day of departure. Late check out fees will apply. Room availability cannot be guaranteed for early arrivals. All efforts will be made, however, to accommodate those guests who arrive early. Luggage storage is available.

All rates are per unit per night and all rates are subject to the current Maine State room and lodging tax of 7%, and the Grand Summit Resort Hotel & Conference Center resort charge of 7%. Total tax and resort fees per room equal 14%.

VOLUNTEERS Needed:
As you know each year we are looking for volunteers to assist us throughout the conference to include: stuffing tote bags, registration desk, workshops, meals and now for the evening reception on Wednesday night May 19.  We typically set up 3 – 4 hour shifts so you can also participate in the conference.  It is a great opportunity to meet new people and assist in providing a first class event (a direct quote from one of our sponsors).  This year Priscilla Dorman, from Penquis will be organizing the volunteer piece.  If you are interested please contact her directly: pdorman@penquis.org or call her at (207) 973-3515.
